signed by the applicant, and mailed in an envelope with first class postage.

The Jersey City Municipal Code incorporates ordinances
adopted by the Municipal Council through January 12, 2005. The most recent codified ordinance is City
Ordinance 04-154.

Free Credit Report
Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (new federal law), you are entitled
to receive a free credit report once a year from each of the three
reporting bureaus. The website is:

If you are concerned about your credit and what your creditors have
reported to the bureaus, then you should go to this website and run your
credit reports. You can also dispute any false information on your
credit report. This is a free service.
