Since being elected to the City Council in 2005, Councilman Fulop has been a reliable watchdog for Jersey City taxpayers. Councilman Fulop has exposed rampant government waste and has fought hard to implement new policies to run city government efficiently. • Advocated for the city’s first hiring freeze
• Only elected watchdog committed to stopping fiscal waste

• Only Councilperson to publicly stand up to mayor on his planned real estate transfer tax
